So a bit of an announcement from me, on a side project that has been occupying my mind the last couple of months. WordCamp Manchester 2026 is taking place!
I’m the lead organiser of the event, which is taking place in just over a month at Whitworth Locke in Manchester on Friday 6th November, so little over a month time.
We’re doing it as part of bringing the UK community back together. If you’ve been subscribed to my newsletter you’d know for about a year or so we’ve been running events at the venue as a low key, low stress, coworking meetup on the last Friday of the month. This is the first time we’re doing a structured event.
Part of the theme of the event is making it sustainable. We want to make sure that we can replicate and sustain it, so there’s no speakers (outside of a super surprise Keynote Activity). We’re using it more to try and meet up in person, get face to face time, and see each other again.
Anyway, tickets at the time of writing are available. They are £25 per person, or £125 should you wish to micro sponsor the event. Half have gone, and I’d encourage any individual who’s business touches WordPress within the Manchester area to attend.
Be good to see you!
