Today sees the release of version 1.4 of my “Preload LCP Image” WordPress Plugin!
This update introduces a powerful new feature: you can now set the Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) Image for category, tags and other taxonomy archive pages. With this enhancement, you have greater flexibility to optimise your site’s performance across different page types.
Configuring this new feature is easy. Simply navigate to Settings > Preload LCP Image in your WordPress dashboard. By default, the LCP Image settings are visible on category and tag pages, but you can customise which taxonomies are included directly from the plugin’s options page.
