Today I’m delighted to announce the launch of version 2.2 of my Freelance Availability Widget WordPress Plugin!
This adds the tilde (~) flag to the “format” attribute within the shortcode. This will allow you to specify your availability based on an approximation. So for example, if you have an availability of 15th of October, it will show it as mid October. You can see it on my how I work page – which shows my availability date even when I’m immediately available.
So for example, if you want to show “available mid October 2023”, your format would be “~ F Y”.
Another attribute has been added to the shortcode. capitalize-first will capitalise the first letter of the string. This is ignored if the first letter is a month or day (as they are always captialised), it is only really used for the approximation flag.
